Abatron High Performance BDM & JTAG Debuggers
The Abatron range of products is based on their latest BDI 3000 unit as well as BDI2000 and BDI1000 for some older configurations. All have serial and Ethernet links. The BDI3000 released Jan 2008 has a 10/100 Ethernet interface and can download code at up to 1.6Mbytes/sec over 4 times the speed of the 2000 which it replaces for our most popular CPUs. The BDI1000 is about 1/10th the speed of the BDI3000.

Abatron provide firmware and PC drivers that allow these units to be used with the most popular compilers and debuggers as part of their integrated development environment. In addition they have an independent windows based flash programmer and a C API for those wishing to integrate BDM/JTAG testing and flash programming into an ATE.

Once you have purchased a BDI you may purchase additional firmware/driver modules to support other CPU and compiler configurations (but note that not all units can be used with all combinations). To order these additional drivers please contact us.

Provides drivers for the popular GCC/GDB debugging environment (GDB is open source and is not included). Available to support all the following CPUs:-
