Abatron High Performance BDM & JTAG Debuggers
The Abatron range of products is based on the BDI 1000, 2000 and their latest the 3000 unit. All have serial and Ethernet links. The 2000 is capable of downloading at around twice the speed of the 1000 although it only costs 35% more. The BDI3000 released Jan 2008 has a 10/100 Ethernet interface and can download code at up to 1.6Mbytes/sec over 4 times the speed of the 2000 which it replaces for our most popular CPUs and all for the same price.

Abatron provide firmware and PC drivers that allow these units to be used with the most popular compilers and debuggers as part of their integrated development environment. In addition they have an independent windows based flash programmer and a C API for those wishing to integrate BDM/JTAG testing and flash programming into an ATE.

Once you have purchased a BDI you may purchase additional firmware/driver modules to support other PC compiler configurations (but note that not all units can be used with all combinations). To order these additional drivers please contact us.
