bdiWind enhances Tornado (V2.x) from Wind River with Background Debug Mode (BDM) and JTAG debugging via BDI2000.

With bdiWind there is no need for Boot ROMs, because the VxWorks core is automatically loaded into the target RAM after every target restart. With the BDI2000, you get a very fast download speed. This combination loads a typical VxWorks core in a few seconds.

In contrast to ICE debugging, bdiWind supports task-mode and system-mode debugging. Task-mode debugging lets you use all of Tornado's advanced debugging features (e.g. dynamic loading and starting of VxWorks tasks). bdiWind supports also programming and erasing of standard flash memories from AMD and Intel.

Internal break registers are supported (allows debugging of code running out of read only memory).

Includes Power Supply. Will operate with Windows 95/98/NT/2K/XP and Unix.
