Making A Purchase It could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. Please note that for sales of £2,500.00 or more, paid for by credit card, a 3.5% surcharge will be added at the checkout stage.

Promotional Discounts
To be eligible for the promotional discount, orders from customers who do not have a COMSOL credit account must be paid for by credit card, bank transfer or a sterling cheque received by the end of the promotion period. If we are out of stock on any items we will supply it after the deadline giving the promotional discount to any customers that otherwise fulfill the above conditions.
Shipping And Handling Shipping charges depend on location and weight. Charges will be displayed during the checkout procedure.

Items shipped to the UK by courier weighing over 2Kg will be delivered next day by 4pm.
Items shipped to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands or UK Offshore are subject to a longer delivery period.
Deliveries times are not guaranteed. We do our best to get goods to customers as soon as possible but occasionally the couriers are delayed.

Deliveries over 2Kg to Northern Ireland, Scottish Offshore, Isle of Man, Channel Isles or Isle of Wight will be subject to a delivery surcharge. We will contact you with details on receipt of order.

Items shipped to outside the UK are shipped FOB Heathrow. You will be charged for the local tax by your country's customs department.
Delivery Schedule Orders received by 12 noon local time (Monday to Friday) will be shipped the same day. Orders arriving after 12 noon will be shipped the following working day. If the order is very urgent please contact us.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will advise you of the expected delivery time and give you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges Orders delivered to the UK will be charged VAT at 17.5%.
Orders delivered within the EU will not be charged VAT (as long as a valid VAT number is provided).
Orders delivered to locations outside the EU are not charged VAT.
Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

RoHS
Directive 2002/95/EC on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS) will be enforced throughout the European Community from 1st July 2006. It's simple aim is to restrict the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) within electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), thereby contributing to the protection of human health and the environment. RoHS is a European Union (EU) Directive, however, manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment outside Europe must also abide by this legislation if the equipment they produce is ultimately imported into a EU member state.

WEEE - Consumer Information
The products we sell may contain substances that can be hazardous to the environment if not disposed of properly.

Electrical and electronic equipment should never be disposed of with general household waste but must be separately collected for their proper treatment and recovery.

The crossed-out bin symbol, placed on our products, reminds you of the need to dispose of the product correctly at the end of its life. In this way you will assist in the recovery, recycling and reuse of many of the materials used in this product. At the end of the life of your product please contact your distributor for information on collection arrangements.

When buying this new product you may be entitle to return, free of charge, another end of life product of equivalent type that has fulfilled the same functions as the supplied equipment. Where possible, recycle your packaging. With your help it is possible to reduce the amount of electrical and electronic waste ending up in landfill and to improve quality of life by preventing the release of potentially hazardous substances into the environment.

Consumer Returns
Consumers (as defined by Statutory Instrument 2000 No 2334) may return any items purchased via the web for a refund (excluding shipping) within 7 working days of their receipt so long as -

a) The goods are returned with any proprietary packaging they may have been supplied in intact.
b) Any hardware is in working and resellable condition.
c) A charge may be levied for testing and refurbishment.
d) Any software is accompanied by a signed statement that it has not been copied and that all installed copies have been deleted and will not be retrieved.
